(96) He said: "What! Even if I brought you better guidance than that which ye found your fathers following?" They said: "For us, we deny that ye (prophets) are sent (on a mission at all)."

(97) And they said, "O thou sorcerer! Invoke thy Lord for us according to His covenant with thee; for we shall truly accept guidance."

(98) This is (true) guidance and for those who reject the Signs of their Lord, is a grievous Penalty of abomination.

(101) But to those who receive guidance, He increases the (light of) guidance, and bestows on them their Piety and Restraint (from evil).

(105) These are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them guidance from their Lord!

(106) That is as far as knowledge will reach them. Verily thy Lord knoweth best those who stray from His Path, and He knoweth best those who receive guidance.
